The original was created from life in the living room of the apartment I stayed at in Chiaia, Naples. This living room is situated right off of the bedroom that I used during my three months there. Every day when I passed by this table and chair to go onto the balcony overlooking the city, I noticed the shadow of the chair on the wall; it appeared as if there was another chair situated directly across. I used this as a metaphor for the idea that when I am most alone is when I feel the most connected and can have profound conversations with myself; this print invites you to ponder that whilst savoring the vibrant colors.
